Performance Boats was founded in 1985 by Ray Jansson, because of his love for jet boats. He started Performance Boats by selling Jet Boats but realized that the market was not there. At which time Ray became an exclusive Supra and Moomba boat dealer headquartered in Boonsboro, Maryland.

In the 23 years that Performance Boats has been selling and servicing Supra and Moomba's line of ski and wakeboard Boats, they branched out to cover Northern Maryland areas and as far south as Mineral, Virginia to cover those customers that boat on Lake Anna.

Performance Boats is not like any other boat dealership around. Partly to the fact that Performance Boats is a family owned and operated boat dealership and because they truly care about the customer.
